Russell Child Development Center (RCDC) Tiny-k program/Greenbush is seeking applicants for the position of Physical Therapist working with children birth - 3 for the RCDC Tiny-k program located in Garden City. The primary responsibilities of the position will be assessing children’s functional, physical developmental levels; planning and implementing age-appropriate interventions to meet child and family objectives; providing recommendations and coaching support; and providing Family Service Coordination.
Required qualifications will include: Master`s degree in job related field and job related experience within specialized field. A valid Kansas driver`s license.
Preferred qualifications include: ability utilizing appropriate assessment instruments and techniques; operating equipment used in physical therapy strategies; preparing and maintaining accurate records. Knowledgeable with regards to age-appropriate interventions and activities; stages of child development; medical diagnoses; current Physical Therapy interventions and approaches; health standards and hazards; and safety practices and procedures. Independent problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data may require independent interpretation; and problem solving with equipment is significant.

RCDC uses a primary service provider approach to serving young children and their families in their homes and other natural environments.
