Provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for facilitating learning for special education students; instruct, assess, and program plan for students with intellectual disabilities, monitoring and evaluate student progress and behavior; research, obtain, and provide instructional materials for special education services including vocational; serve as a resource for students, parents, and District personnel; work within a self-contained classroom.
Qualifications: Must have one of the following: -Current KSDE licensure in Functional/ Elementary or Secondary Education -Current KSDE licensure in Elementary or Secondary Education or Adaptive (high incidence) and interested in becoming licensed to teach special education students on a waiver (tuition assistance provided).
