Provide support to the instructional process by serving as a special education teacher with specific responsibility for facilitating student success in general education academic areas; supervising special education students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Qualifications: Must have one of the following: -Current KSDE licensure in Adaptive/High Incidence and Elementary or Secondary Education-Current KSDE licensure in Elementary or Secondary Education and interested in becoming certified/licensed to teach special education students on a waiver (tuition assistance provided).
