Special Education Interrelated Classroom Teacher (K-12)

Beloit Special Education Cooperative is accepting applications for two certified Special Education Interrelated Classroom Teachers (K-12) for the 2018-2019 school year.  Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsement. 

A district application is required.  Applications can be found at www.usd273.org under employment opportunities.  If you do not have access to the internet, you may request a paper application from the USD 273 office by calling 785-738-3261.  A cover letter, resume, three letters of reference, appropriate credentials and a copy of your teaching license must be returned with the paper application.  Applications will be accepted until position is filled.

USD 273-Beloit contributes $4,260 toward a single or family health insurance policy with participation in BC/BS health plan. Minimum starting salary for B.A. - $33,825 Minimum starting salary for M.A. - $35,863 (These salaries are based on the current salary schedule.) Credit will be given for years of teaching experience. Building staff includes 41 professionals, 3 secretaries, 13 paraeducators and aides, 3 custodians, 1 maintenance worker, 1 director of buildings and grounds and 4 cooks. Average enrollment grades 7-12 is 348, with an average class size of 16 students per teacher.

Beloit School District USD #273 is the host district for the Beloit Special Education Cooperative. The Beloit Special Education Cooperative provides a full continuum of services for students with disabilities in accordance to the Individuals with Disabilities Act 2004 (IDEA-R). The districts the cooperative serves are USD #107 Rock Hills, USD #272 Waconda, USD #273 Beloit, USD #298 Lincoln, and USD #299 Sylvan Grove.
