5th Grade Teacher

USD 363 is accepting applications for a 5th Grade Teacher.   Applications can be found on the district`s website at www.USD363.com under district information and new employee tab.  Qualified applicants should complete the certified application form along with the background information forms.  A valid Kansas teaching license is required.  The district’s current year negotiated agreement is located on the website.

USD 363 offers fulltime teachers a single health insurance plan, or the amount of $6,860 per year ($572) per month to be used toward the purchase of the district health insurance plan. The benefit is a use it or lose it option. The Board of Education offers $120 per month to each teacher not enrolled in the district`s health insurance plan. The $120 is to be used to purchase an annuity and/or other insurance products offered by the district. Base pay for 2019-2020 is $40,750. Credit for years of experience in state accredited schools will be given according to the district’s negotiated agreement. The district’s salary schedule can be found in the agreement on the website.

USD 363 students are served by one high school with a 3A classification, one middle school and two elementary schools.  The district employs approximately eighty faculty members and more than fifty classified employees. 

USD 363 schools are fully accredited by KSDE.   All classrooms have internet access with ample number of student computers.  Students in grades third through High School use a one-to-one chromebook initiative for student learning.
