USD 399 Natoma-Paradise-Waldo is located in North Central Kansas containing 439 square miles.  The district is unique in that it encompasses parts of four counties:  Russell, Osborne, Rooks, and Ellis. The district is currently on a four day school week with classes running from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday. 

Two attendance centers are in use in Natoma.  There is a PreK-5 building with a competition gymnasium and a 6-12 building.  There is also a gymnasium in Paradise that is utilized for practices.

Special Education services are provided through North Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative Interlocal #636, Phillipsburg, Kansas.  USD 399 is also a member of the Smoky Hill Education Service Center.  The Natoma Jr./Sr. High School is a member of the KSHSAA and the Northern Plains League.

Extra Curricular Activities include Volleyball, Cross Country, 6-man Football, Basketball, Track, Golf, Vocal Music, Band, Pep Band, Scholars Bowl, National Honor Society, FFA, SADD, Student Council, and Speech/Forensic. The Natoma High School is a member of the KSHSAA and the Northern Plains League.

The district utilizes a 1:1 technology initiative for all students using a mix of iPads and laptops.
