9 Month Contract Full-time Position (renewable contract position)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Digital Media Technology Instructor will teach 15 credit hours of classes each semester. The teaching assignment will include Adobe Suite courses, Graphic Design I and II, along with related Digital Media courses. (Production Media, with the PRO course prefix, is the designated area in the College Catalog.) The position is responsible for student recruitment and advising, academic program development and division participation, committee and task force service, and individual professional development. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Digital Media and/or related discipline courses is preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media or related disciplines along with industry experience is required. Experience in college teaching is preferred.
LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus office location. Office hours are required of the position
SALARY: MS/MA $43,143-$49,960 based on education and experience; BS/BA $40,165-$46,982 based on education and experience. An excellent benefits package is available.
STARTING DATE: January 10, 2020; classes begin January 21, 2020
