Director of the Library

DIRECTOR OF THE LIBRARY - 12 Month Contract Full-time Position (renewable contract position)

RESPONSIBILITIES:         The Director is responsible for directing and supervising the Library according to recognized standards and guidelines in order that it serve as a curriculum and research source to the college and the community. (Please review the complete position description posted on the College website.                 

QUALIFICATIONS:            Master of Library Science, Master of Library and Information Science, or an equivalent degree required; experience working in academic or college libraries preferred.

LOCATION:                         Iola, Kansas Campus (Conveniently located to Kansas City, Wichita, Pittsburg, Emporia, Lawrence, Topeka)

SALARY:                             $45,000-$55,000 based on education and experience.  Excellent benefits package available.           

STARTING DATE:               April 1, 2019 or negotiable
