POSITION: Program Coordinator 


TERM: Position is 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, full year. 

DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for planning and directing the work of the individuals in the 3-5 education program, with responsibilities of overseeing other content areas to cover birth to age five. This position is a member of the leadership team. This position is responsible for the performance of assigned content areas through the middle managers and is reliant on the work of all, direct reports to accomplish the organization`s goals and mission through: oversight, on-going monitoring, strategic  planning, and policy/procedure development, etc. 

REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and five years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Proper Kansas Licensure in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Unified, or Early Childhood Education Special Ed is highly preferred. Knowledge of disabilities from birth to age five is preferred. Knowledge of social-emotional learning to include, Conscious Discipline, mindfulness, trauma, and self care, is preferred. Candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong background in leadership, supervision, communication, team building, and knowledge and compliance of regulations.
