Functional Special Ed Teacher (Structured Learning) (Maize High School - USD 266)(19/20)

Provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for facilitating learning for special education students; instructing, assessing, and program planning for students with a primary disability of moderate to severe autism, monitoring and evaluating student progress and behavior; researching, obtaining, and providing instructional materials for special education services; serving as a resource for students, parents, and district personnel; working in a special education or inclusive classroom.

Qualifications – Must have one of the following:

-Current KSDE licensure in Functional/Low Incidence and Secondary Education

-Current KSDE licensure in Secondary Education and interested in becoming certified/licensed to teach special education students on a waiver (tuition assistance provided) and experience with students with low incidence disabilities.
