Middle School STEM (Tech, Science, Engineering, Math) Teacher

Full-time STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) vacancy at Great Bend Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year.  This position is under Project Lead the Way, and teaches two courses -- Intro to Design and Modeling, and Intro to Robotics.  See more details below:  

Position requires Kansas State Department of Education teaching license with Technology, Industrial Arts, or other Technology endorsement at the 7-8 grade level.

 Salary placement based upon education and experience.  

 Employment start date will be approximately August 1, 2019.

 Middle School Technology


Position Description:   

Middle School Technology for grades 7-8 is an introductory course in the areas of construction, drafting, and other technologies.  Successful candidate will be working with high school CTE staff in the Manufacturing, Design, and Pre-Construction and Construction Pathways. 



  • Valid Kansas teaching license with endorsement(s) in Technology Education, Industrial Arts Comp, and/or other areas of technology as appropriate.
  • Experience in areas of construction, drafting, and technology skills.
  • Teaching experience in these subject areas is preferred but not required.

Term of Employment:      

School year as contracted in the Certified Employee`s Agreement.
