USD 473 Secondary Social Studies Teacher
Reports To: Building Principal
FLSA Status: Exempt
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year as reviewed and established annually by the Board of Education
Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated regularly in accordance with the Board’s policy.
USD 473 social studies educators demonstrate a commitment to provide a safe and positive learning environment- which will empower all students to learn and achieve to their maximum potential and become responsible- productive citizens.
This position will be for the 2019 - 2020 School Year.

While performing the duties of this job- the employee is frequently required to walk- sit- talk and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision- distance vision- depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. On occasion the employee may be required to work extended hours.
USD 473, Chapman has a Student enrollment of approximately 1,000 students.
