Royal Valley USD #337 is seeking a high school Principal for the 2019-20 school year.

Responsibilities include: supervision and evaluation of staff, scheduling and supervision of school events/activities, managing student behavior, operational leadership of the high school, and working with the administrative team and teachers to strengthen and enhance curriculum and instruction of the educational environment at Royal Valley.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success of all students, be able to build relationships with staff, students, and the community, and organize and facilitate athletic events and activities, grades 7-12.

Royal Valley USD 337

USD #337, Royal Valley, is located about 15 miles north of Topeka, Kansas on US Highway 75.  Royal Valley schools serve residents along the Highway 75 corridor in southern Jackson County, including the towns of Hoyt and Mayetta, as well as the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation.  Royal Valley High School (9-12) is located in Hoyt.  Royal Valley Middle School (5-8) is located in Mayetta, and Royal Valley Elementary School (K-4) is located in Hoyt.  The district serves about 850 students, with Royal Valley High School competing in KSHSAA class 3A.  The district has made significant investment in district facilities and technology, with a 1:1 ratio with Chromebooks for students, grades 5 - 12.  Elementary students have a 1:2 ratio with iPads and other devices.  Interested applicants may inquire by email, phone, or mail and should contact Susan Pfrang, Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
