Skyline Schools is a progressive district located 2 miles west of Pratt on Highway 54. We are a K-12 facility serving approximately 425 students. Our student population consists of students from the towns of Sawyer, Coats, Cullison, Byers and rural Pratt County. Geographically, USD #438 is a large district with 490 square miles within its boundaries.
We are a 2A school for the purpose of KSHSAA classification and a member of the Heart of the Plains League. We offer a full range of educational and extra-curricular activities for our Middle and High School students.
We are committed to technology and have made strides to equip our classrooms with SmartBoards and iPad labs. We also use Facebook and other media mediums to keep in contact with our students and families.
We have Project Based Learning Classroom for our 5th and 6th grade classes. Project-based learning is a dynamic approach to teaching in which students explore real-world problems and challenges. We are also using Class Looping with our 3rd and 4th grades. We feel both of these programs are serving our students well.
