Ellinwood Public Schools USD #355 is now accepting applications for the positions of Grade School Teacher and 6th Grade Math Teacher at Ellinwood Grade School for the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. The district has a myriad of supplemental positions available to the candidate if he or she is so interested. The successful candidate will also receive a laptop and iPad to accommodate and support the district`s 1:1 iPad initiative. The district also employs a full-time data coordinator that works with each teacher to organize and utilize relevant actionable data to improve student outcomes.
The district is looking for a dynamic candidate to engage primary grade students in all facets of learning. The district desires a person that is a team player and has a skill set in all core areas. Having a passion for MTSS and a willingness to differentiate instruction to reach each learner is a requirement. The district is also interested in a candidate that can adapt to fluid situations and is willing to continually reflect and improve as a professional. A commitment to the Responsibility Centered Discipline Model (Give ‘Em Five) will be of benefit to the candidate. Priority will be given to candidates that are innovative and progressive in their methods.
