The Rose Hill School District is a Suburban District located fifteen (15) miles southeast of Wichita, Kansas. The District was initially incorporated in 1909 and went through the unification process in 1965. The District serves its students through four centers located on one campus. The instructional nature of these buildings is Primary School, serving Early Childhood Special Education and Kindergarten through 2nd grade; Intermediate School, serving 3rd through 5th grade; Middle School, serving 6th through 8th grade and a High School serving grades 9 through 12. At the beginning of the 2006-07 school year, the Early Childhood through 5th grades moved into a brand new facility on the east side of campus. The Middle School during the 2009-10 school year, moved into their building, which was remodeled and included a new addition. The District`s staff and High School students have had use of laptops through laptop initiative grants since fall of 2005 and the District has offered all day Kindergarten since the 2006-07 school year. Classroom sizes are below twenty in grades K-2 and below twenty-five in grades 3-8. The core classroom size at the High School is below thirty.
